When Billy comes home, he finds the police searching his apartment. Samantha is in handcuffs and about to be hauled off to jail. Detective Stevenson tells him that she is charged with aiding and abetting a known felon, Jim Reilly. Billy is shocked and angry to hear that Samantha is being accused of tipping off her father after informing the police where to find him. As Samantha is escorted out, Stevenson advises Billy to hire an attorney.
At Peter's condo, Taylor dons sexy lingerie and climbs into bed with Peter, who is asleep. The phone rings. It is a call from Dr. Irene Shulman and he asks why Peter is late for the staff meeting. Taylor brusquely replies that she will relay the message. Awake now, Peter asks who called. When Taylor says that it was Dr. Shulman, Peter jumps out of bed and heads for the shower, angry that he has overslept. Taylor protests, saying she was in the mood for love. Peter, with distaste, tells her to get on some decent clothes and wash off that cheap perfume.
